Donations
Have used curriculum but would rather make a donation than sell it? Here are your options. (All donations become the property of CHEC and are subject to the terms of service.)
- Donate to CHEC: Donations can be made at the CHEC Office in Elizabeth by appointment only prior to June 2026; then, any sale proceeds will benefit CHEC, and we will happily provide you with a tax receipt for your donation.
- Drop Zone Volunteer: Are you willing to serve the homeschooling community in Colorado by operating as a local drop zone volunteer? You would be contacted by individuals that are local to your area and receive used curriculum. You would be responsible for barcoding, storing (until the conference) and hauling the curriculum to the UCS. The benefit would be 40% of sale proceeds would be yours to keep on any items sold at the UCS. Please contact Kendra Gaines at ucs@chec.org to sign up for this unique opportunity to serve. Drop zone volunteers must provide name, email and phone number to be listed on this website for purposes of community members to reach out to you directly.
We will only be accepting donations of items that are 5 years old or younger.
Please: Refrain from donating items just to dispose of them. Consider items that you would like to find for your own family. Our purpose and goal for the UCS is to help and bless families! (No musty smelling books, broken toys, used consumables, etc.) We do not have a separate area for single-parent gleaning this year. Only barcoded items will be accepted. Single-parents can pre-register for a shopping voucher.
