Totally convinced to come to the conference, but not sure about making it work with your budget? We totally get that! And our entire team of staff and volunteers work hard throughout the year to keep all of our CHEC event costs low.
But we also have several other ways you can save, too — up to the full cost of the conference:
Invite a Friend
After you register for the conference, you’ll receive a confirmation email; scroll to the end of the email and click the “Yes, Enroll Me!” link. You’ll be taken to a page with your own referral personal link (and code). Then simply invite your friends and family who have never attended the conference before and have them register using your link or code. Then …
- YOU earn a $10 credit on your registration (refunded back to you!)
- YOUR FRIENDS receive a $20 first time attendee discount.
Hurry – the referral program expires in the spring!
After you register, simply check your email for your confirmation with your personal referral code & link at the bottom of the email.
When you volunteer for CHEC throughout the year, you can earn vouchers (worth $3 per volunteer hour) that are good toward your conference registration. Volunteer options include working at special events, helping with data entry at the Parker office, or setting up at the conference itself.
But we’ll warn you up front: You can volunteer to save costs on the conference, but then you may get hooked on the fellowship and fun and stick around for a long while!
To redeem your vouchers, first make sure you’ve pre-registered for the conference to get the best deal. Then, when you volunteer, simply request a voucher for your time. When you arrive at the conference, go to the registration desk sometime during the weekend and get a refund on your registration according to your amount in vouchers. (We also offer a free shopping time — no registration required — for all volunteers. Learn more here.)
