Why the Millennial Generation Will Change the Church & Culture
June 13 @ 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm
Statistical research shows that approximately two-thirds of young people in America are leaving the church by the time they reach college age—with very few returning. In this keynote session, Ken Ham looks at data published in his book, Already Gone, which shows that a lack of teaching foundational apologetics and biblical worldview in churches and Christian homes is a leading cause for this mass departure. He compares this data with new statistical research published in his book, Ready to Return, showing that the millennial generation is more secularized in their worldview than ever. Millennials who currently attend church are going to be the voice of the Church in the future, and we need to do something before we lose the generation after them. By taking a strong stand on biblical authority, rooting out compromise, and teaching apologetics, we can reclaim lost and coming generations for Christ.
